About me
On July 2023, I built up assurance that I am saved by our Lord Jesus Christ through His grace, love, and glory. After years of confusion, I have gotten to know Him through fellow believers and the grace of God assisting me throughout my life. Family/background:
I was born in Lanxi, Zhejiang, China on February 20th, 2001. I was adopted in 2002 by a single mother and lived in New Jersey. When I was 4 years old, my mother passed away from cancer at age of 50 and was raised by my aunt who took care of me, my two older sisters, and my cousin. Over two years ago, my aunt sadly passed away from septic shock at the age of 62 in 2019. She was a charming woman and someone I always will look up to. Afterward, I have been living an independent life since my senior of high school. In May 2024, I graduated from Misericordia University with a Bachelors of Science in Sport Management and currently studying at Messiah University to pursue a Master of Arts in Intercollegiate Athletic Leadership. I still see my family as often as I can and try to stay in touch. |
Running:
As a child, I was always full of energy and I loved to run. I remember I always drove my family crazy because whenever my family wanted to relax, I always wanted to hang out and go outside. When I was in 5th grade, I started to love running and I wanted to do well in the sport. So, I joined The Cross Country team in middle school, and in 7th grade, I was the fastest in my grade. In 8th grade, I became the fastest runner on the team and became undefeated. I continued to run throughout high school and won many medals and awards. I also became a captain in both Cross Country and Track. I love running long distances and I can easily run 10-15 miles before I start feeling tired. I had an opportunity to run three half marathons in 8th grade, freshman, and sophomore year of high school. My fastest half marathon is one hour and 20 minutes and I am willing to run even faster one day. I have an idea to be a personal trainer or running coach when I graduate college. That is the main reason I major in Sport Management because I have an interest in training people physically and mentally. Running has really taught me to stay motivated in everything I do and is a gift from God. It has made a big impact on my life and taught me to live a healthy lifestyle. Currently, I am no longer a student athlete since I graduated college but I still continue to train and compete as often as I can. |
